Job Description:

We are growing fast and are currently seeking a part-time, telecommuting contractor to work on existing ColdFusion applications as well as ongoing CF projects. The position will start with approximately 20 hours of work per week, and will likely evolve to full-time. Inherent currently runs CF MX 7.0, CF 5.0 and MS-SQL 2005, all on new HP Windows 2003 servers. We are preparing to build the next revolution of our Dynapsis Content Management System using the new Adobe CF 8 platform. The position requires maintenance of existing applications as well as development of new projects which specifically include online payment processing applications. Skills:

• Expert knowledge of ColdFusion, MS-SQL 2000, 2003, 2005, IIS, JavaScript, XML, dHTML, HTML and CSS
• Deep understanding of database design and schemas
• Must hand-code database-driven pages
• Knowledge of server-side PDF technologies and database reporting
• Strong grasp of modern best practices in Web development, including HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
• Must be strong ColdFusion (5 through MX); you must have excellent CF skills in order to succeed
• Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write joins, views, triggers and stored procedures from the command line
• Experience coding online payment processing applications

Experience:

• 4+ years real world experience developing ColdFusion Web applications
